‘It’s the Summertime, It’s the 70’s, It’s Cork’.
This coming of age comedy by Gina Moxley was staged in the Abbey Hall in March 2014 and then for one night only in the Watergate Theatre. A comedy about growing up in rural Cork and the Wild West.
Set in the middle of nowhere in Cork, 5 teenagers are eager to learn all there is about the birds and the bees. Danti is 14 with a mental age of 8 and just wants to play cowboys, learn how to play cards and head out to the Wild West.
Cactus is wild and getting on everyone’s wick, while Dolores is being led astray by Cactus.
Noel and Ber are young, in love & foolish.
