Project Description

Bittersweet Graffiti another original work by Adrian Kavanagh was all about his home of Graiguenamanagh and those summers by the river.

Set by the boathouse, one summer as a group of friends are about to finish their leaving cert and others are still trying to figure it all out, it’s one summer they sure are not going to forget.
It can get pretty boring, but when a group of Spanish Students arrive to the town they sure living things up. When Kieran believes he has found the love of his life, Adoria, Charlie, the narrator is still waiting for the girl of his dreams he met in the book shop. Jack doesn’t know whether he and Sophie should stay together seeing as they are about to start their first college year. While Sophie’s best friend Caoimhe has returned from inter-railing and is trying to convince them that Graig, is home and not so bad.

Bittersweet Graffiti ran for four nights in April 2012 in the Abbey Hall.
