With the rehearsals started and promo hitting the newspapers…the next big task for the ‘One For The Road’ production is to turn The Duiske Inn in to a college bar.
This is no easy task and before we even start to build the set some vital questions need to be asked…’What does every college bar in Ireland have?’…’Should we put in couches or stools?’…’Is there going to be real beer behind the bar?'(Probably Yes)…’do we have enough posters?’….’Will the toilets have a non-functioning condom machine which you find yourself screaming at ‘go fuck yourself’ at the early hours of the morning?’
These are just a few of the important questions being asked by the cast…especially about the condom machine.
While I can’t answer precisely about that matter…I mean why don’t they just bring their own..to which they reply ‘sure it’s not the same excitement without having everyone in the bar knowing your getting some…college students ey???
Well anyway we know there will be posters..cool posters and t-shirts such as the ones from the protest’s and probably some rag week ones as well.
 But more needs to be added…. to me what make’s a college bar so cool is the unnecessary shit in there but is now cool because it’s there.
Stuff such as..old movie posters, records from long ago, maybe a deer’s head and a copy of the Ireland’s own thrown in for good measure…I fecking love the Ireland’s own.

Anyway it’s not much longer until opening night and everyone is starting to get excited. We all hope to see you there.’Tully’s is going to be open for business very soon.
